Now equipped with 32 track ProTools, the main Recording Studio is fully set up to get you a slick, professional sound from recording to mastering.
Linked to Studio 1 and 2 with multicores and CCTV, live and "built from a click track" demos are both easy to do. Studio 1 has a great live sound and Studio 2 has a floating floor and extra sound absorbtion for a very clean sound.
We use an Allen & Heath mixing desk for its great sound, along with monitoring by Yamaha/IMF Studio Monitors/Dahlquist.
For a detailed, clear and smooth sound, vocals are recorded with an AKG Solid Tube valve microphone and acoustic instruments are recorded with Beyerdynamic MC834s.
Recording rates (including an engineer and including use of Studio 1 or 2) are £15 an hour for sessions of more than two hours, £120 per 8 hour day or £16/hour for shorter sessions or editing/mastering, etc. (If you need to cancel your recording session, 48 hours notice must be given or the whole session will be charged for).
